Up for sale one roll of Alkali-resistant waterproofing fiberglass mesh tape.
The roll is 6” wide and 50‘ linear feet long.
You most likely seen my videos on You-tube where i am showing how to waterproof
shower, built-in niche or standard tub surround walls using Fiberglass mesh tape.
This is very same tape that is visible on my videos and use by me in all of my bathroom remodeling jobs for waterproofing.

This tape is highly recommended when it comes to waterproofing any wet area in your house.

standards when used with waterproofing membrane.
6” size is perfect to cover top of any knee-wall or shower curb.
Be aware of similar looking products that some sellers offer in low prices. There is similar tape available on market that is not Alkali resistant (  for flashing use) and this is why is way less expensive !
Also please note that this is not drywall joint tape! Drywall joint tape is not made of 100% fiberglass and has huge gaps in it , that will not create desired result and waterproofing effect.
Be care fool when shopping for this product.
Some contractors will use only waterproofing membrane to waterproof risky areas.
Without any reinforcement (mesh tape) it is worth nothing.
Mesh tape when combine with membrane gives us 100% waterproofed shower corner or curb – and this is where leaks always starts when not waterproofed correctly!!
This type of waterproofing will never fail if done right.
Because it’s flexibility we can waterproof any
wall or curb shape.
When house is settling down grout starts to crack, and all water that gets to such areas will penetrate all this cracks causing mold, rotten walls and sub-floors, leaks.
Using this
tape we will avoid such situation. Tape is flexible and any cracks in grout will not transfer to tape(if used with membrane) – keeping all water inside shower.
